Hello there, I'm Siobhan Wilson. I first became interested in complimentary health when I had my first alexander technique lesson after seeing an actress on Pebble Mill at One talking about it! She explained that it was for people who wished to become aware of their poor postural habits which interfered with everyday actions and movements. I thought it sounded intrieguing and just what I needed.I had lessons twice a week for six months then decided that it was a very worthwhile endevour and began a 3 year full time course in St. Andrews. Aged 23 I qualified as a techer of the Alexander Technique and for 5 years taught the Alexander Technique in Perth. Aged 30 I went to Sydney, Australia for a year to study massage. This was to increase my knowledge of anatomy and physiology as well adding more breadth to my skills. I qualified with Diplomas in Remedial massage, Sports Injury Therapy and Sports massage,Aromatherapy massage and Integrated Bodyworks. With this therapy I worked an eight month contract onboard the biggest cruise ship in the world ,based out of Miami, 'The Voyager of the Seas'. After this I found Scotland too dark and cold and so worked for 5 years onboard private Yachts in Europe and the Carribbean as a Stewardess and Massage Therapist. Returning to the UK I wished to further her working knowledge and decided aged 40, to undertake training to become an Osteopath. After completing the 4 year Masters of Osteopathy Degree in Leeds,England, I have now returned to Perth and opened my own small clinic where I offer all these therapies. I very much look forward to being able to meet you soon.
